We created space to learn about zine-making to inspire community members to make their own unique zines. Community members engaged in crafting, happy hour, and built connections through meaningful conversation.
This workshop came after the successful release of FEMINIST’s first-ever zine that brought together leading feminist voices, artists, activists and creators to celebrate and interrogate what being an intersectional feminist means today and into the future. The inaugural collection of contributions from feminists around the world highlighted some of this moment’s most pressing political issues and included art, interviews, photography, toolkits and more from your favorite feminist icons, reproductive justice advocates, trans activists, Indigenous artists, and more.
