On Friday, June 24th, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, a violent decision that has and will continue to negatively impact people who can become pregnant/pregnant people. On August 11, The Media for Reproductive Justice Group, a collective of journalists, content creators, and media professionals are organizing to fight back, build awareness, and raise money for the National Network of Abortion Funds. The National Network of Abortion Funds builds power with members to remove financial and logistical barriers to abortion access by centering people who have abortions and organizing at the intersections of racial, economic, and reproductive justice.

Come join us to listen and learn from experts leading the reproductive justice movement followed by a screening of Trapped (2016), a documentary that follows the struggles of the clinic workers and lawyers who are on the front lines of a battle to keep abortion safe and legal for millions of American child-bearing people. Independent abortion providers care for the majority of people seeking abortion in the U.S. – often serving individuals and families with the fewest resources and in the most rural parts of our nation. We look forward to seeing you on August 11th as we work to create a tangible difference in the fight for reproductive rights.
