YOUR ACTION TOOLKIT ๐Ÿ›  TO PROTECT ABORTION ACCESS

We believe everybody is entitled to reproductive freedom - that includes access to safe and legal abortions. Our hearts & gratitude are with abortion providers and those in need of care now. ๐Ÿ™

The US Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade. In the Dobbs v. Jackson Womenโ€™s Health Organization case, the conservative majority US Supreme court ruled 6-3 to ban abortion, which effectively overturned Roe V Wade, the constitutional right to abortion established nearly 50 years ago. (More below)

Here at Feminist we know the fight is not over. They can never stop abortion, abortion is a human right. We will continue to advocate for all peopleโ€™s right to bodily autonomy.

You are not alone in your grief. 80% of the American public think abortion should be legal.

The legality of Abortion in the US is now in the control of State legislatures. We encourage you to review the details of your stateโ€™s laws. You can review here.

๐Ÿšฉ26 states could quickly move to ban abortion; 36 million women โ€” nearly half of the people of reproductive age (18-49) in the United States โ€” and other people who can become pregnant are in the position to lose abortion access. Legal abortions would no longer be accessible to many, particularly among poor women in the South and Midwest, and out-of-state travel and abortion pills would play a bigger role. (Source NY Times)

What you can do:

1๏ธโƒฃ You can still access legal abortion care in the USโ€”safe at home abortions are available with Plan C pills. Scroll down for resources.

2๏ธโƒฃ Your vote mattersโ€” you have the power to vote for bold, unapologetic champions for abortion rights in this years midterm elections:  Candidates like Sens. Raphael Warnock and Maggie Hassan and gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. Access the 2022 Pro-choice voter guide ๐Ÿ‘‰ here by @voteprochoice.

3๏ธโƒฃ  You have the power to protest and contact your local lawmakers. This ruling has no power without people enforcing it. You can continue to advocate and protect abortion in your local community.

4๏ธโƒฃ Planned Parenthood advocacy and political organizations will continue to fight back. Alongside NARAL Pro-Choice America and EMILYโ€™s List.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Join us in fighting back to protect abortion access all across the country. ๐Ÿ›  This is your toolkit to take action and share with your friends & family.

Abortion Pills are available in all 50 states.

A safe, at-home abortion is here. The โ€œabortion pill" or "abortion with pillsโ€ is a modern option for ending an early pregnancy safely and effectively. It is also called "medication abortion." It uses two kinds of pills: mifepristone and misoprostol (or misoprostol only, if mifepristone is not available).
