This Women's History Month, we're turning the pay gap into a fundraising goal.
The gender pay gap doesn't stop at the office — it follows women directly into the newsroom. Women reporters earn $8K–$15K less per year than their male counterparts. So this Women's History Month, we made that gap our fundraising goal — on purpose.
We're using every dollar to hire the writers who got pushed out. The women, queer, trans, and BIPOC journalists who still have stories to tell and nowhere to tell them. Because we know firsthand: who tells the story shapes everything. How people vote. How they spend. What they fight for. What they believe is even possible.
FEMINIST is that place. We're not waiting for mainstream media to get it right — we're building the platform where women, trans and queer creators, and BIPOC storytellers are the journalists, the voices, the visionaries.
